Situated in the village of Mangersta on the Atlantic coast of Lewis, the pod is a few minutes walk away from a remote beach and stunning cliff walks. This is an area of exceptional natural beauty with over 20 beaches as well as beautiful moorland and lochs.
Mangersta is a remote village in the Parish of Uig on the west Atlantic coast of the Isle of Lewis with its own distinctive sandy beach nestled in the cliffs. The view as you walk the cliffs, seeing sea stacks, wild flowers and birds as you go along is, quite honestly, breathtaking. Sit for a moment & watch the rhythm of the ocean, relax and enjoy.
Of course the good weather days are wonderful, but here in the north the weather can change suddenly. This is the time to see the Hebrides you often hear about, and Mangersta is the perfect place to watch the sea when it is big and crashing against the cliffs
There are many beautiful beaches, hills and moorland in Lewis and Harris. The natural beauty of the landscape and wildlife are all here for you to explore, by foot, by car or by taking the boat trips.
